Oczywiście posiada również swoje metaforyczne konotacje w stosunku do systemów społecznych. Tworząc takie wirtualne przypadkowe istoty badam relacje między informacją a organizmem – pytam o definicję życia w kontekście posthumanizmu. W swoich najnowszych pracach badam procesy zachodzące między organizmem, tkanką, bakterią, lub jakąkolwiek żywą komórką a wirusem jako rodzajem czystej informacji podobnej do każdego innego przekazu kulturowego.
